This past episode of DHW hasn’t failed again in the drama and shock.
After finding out of Gaby’s rape as a child, she and Carlos go to Texas to visit her abuser’s grave Carlos feels it will be good closure for her to just let all her anger out at the gravesite. While on the trip, Gaby is swarmed by the townspeople—coming from such a small town, she was the only one to basically leave and become a celebrity in their eyes when she used to model. Carlos is angry that she is booking radio interviews and soaking up the fame since it wasn’t the point of the trip.
Gaby is ignoring Carlos by furthermore surrounding herself within the paparazzi. She is again ignoring the problem she has in front of her and bottling in her emotions, something Carlos is trying to help her with but she isn’t responding.
Keith has mixed emotions about his son. He tries to convince Bree to move with him to Florida to live closer but Bree refuses. Ultimately, the two break up and Keith moves to Florida and Bree is left alone on Wisteria Lane.
Bree can almost think now she regrets telling him about his son just because it ruined their relationship. But at the same time, she has a heart and left it was necessary to risk their relationship for his true happiness.
Lynette is frustrated with her two grown twins, especially the fact they are bringing girls home around their younger siblings. They tell the parents they got their own place and are fending for themselves. Low and behold though, they have been staying at the neighbor’s house and having her cook and clean for them—basically they aren’t on their own as they made it seem and Lynette is again mad at the boys.
She is trying to mature her sons to be able to face the world when they eventually do move out and feels it’s a reflection of her mothering if her sons wont ever be able to cook or clean or do their own laundry.
Susan, under Rene’s influence, starts using her dialysis as an excuse to get her way in lines, to avoid waits and restaurants. At the end of the episode, Susan collapses in a restaurant after being yelled at by a man for using her dialysis as an excuse to cut the line.
Karma ended up biting Susan in the butt. Using her dialysis to get what she wants worked for a while but then had it consequences when she faints.
Paul is working on getting Zach sober again and decides to send him to a rehab center. While having much going on in his life right now with his son and trying to figure out who shot him, he ends up kicking Beth out of the house out of suspicion.
Next week, we hope to see if Gaby will ever fully get her closure and follow though with her therapy, how Bree is handling her breakup, what Lynette’s sons are going to end up doing, Susan’s well being and what Beth will do now homeless.
